Quinceanera
The Quinceañera is tradition that has been around for many years. It a celebration of the young woman's 15th birthday and a commitment to her faith before the altar of God and in the presence of her family and friends.
The quince anos celebration is not a sacrament, however, the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist are integral parts of the celebration.
Requirements- Immediate family are registered members of the parish
- Attending mass regularly
- 2 years of CCE Class
- Must have received sacraments
- Must attend Quiñceanera retreat
- Quiñceanera is to be scheduled at least 1 year in advance. The tme will be determined by the Priest's or Deacon's availability, the usual time for the celebration is 11:00 am or 1:00 pm, according to availability.
- The fee is to be paid 6 months prior to the anticipated of date of the event.
- Call the parish office and ask for the current rate as this is subject to change.
- The rate is $400.00 for non-members and the pastor must be willing to have the celebration.
